The Kress Building Built in 1928, this historic landmark is located between Pack Square and Pritchard Park, a park where the Friday night Asheville Drum Circle meets. Renovated in 2002, the building’s historic preservation credit has passed on to property owner’s reducing their real estate taxes in Asheville. Downstairs in the Neoclassical Kress Emporium, over 80 artists display and sell their masterpieces.
